Goose Girl-GREAT BOOK
Goose girl is like the best book ever! I love the twist @ the end! (ALSO ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS FOR A STORY LIKE GOOSE GIRL!!???)
i'm confused as well. there is no twist at the end.......unless you count Geric and his father overhearing Ani, Selia, and what's his face talking, and then they believe ani's story.
And that's not really a twist, because in the orginal Goose Girl fairy tale, the king does believe the real princess. And that wasn't really at the very end, either.
Oh, ok. I sorta expected that, but was still surprised. And really happy, because Isi and Geric are awesome together! I like them more than Enna and Finn...
Oh, just that she's totally in love with Geric. Ironically, she's going to be the witness to Isi's tragic fall from a cliff and be there to comfort Geric in his grief. ;-)
LOL! That's great! If Geric were real, I might also be there at the cliff when Isi falls, but Isi's just so awesome, so that would be hard. Maybe Dasha might be overcome by water-speaking and "accidently" drown, and Razo will need someone to comfort him. Hmmm...
Actually, Rae, Geric got called a really long time ago, and you do NOT want to mess with the Anilees. Believe me. You don't.
Nope, considering Anilees = Anidori-Isilee and Ani Isilee. And this would have been before this group was created, I would think.
I believe Faith called Razo. And Anilee, since your in college, I think Finn needs someone to take care of him, don't you? ;)
lol! I just bough all the other books (Enna Burning, Rivers Secret, and Forest) CANT REMEBER THE REST OF THE TITLE...) anyway im like halfway through enna Burning and its kinda a dissapointment..but im only halfway through so im hoping it will get better! Anyway I think that Ani and Geric r the best fairy tale..not to sweet but no too brutal...kinda! :)

They are SO not fictional! None of the books I really like are fictional....of course. Finn is real, Gen is real, Geric is real, and on, and on, and on....
My order is *probably* EB, RS, GG. I can't wait to see how good FB is! EB is definitely my favorite though.

where to start? Have you read The Hunger Games books? that's set in the future. another book in the future book is the Uglies series. they're kind sci-fi, which I tend to think of as a combination of the two genres you said. the Myth Series is good. the first one is Another Fine Myth. that's fantasy. k. i gotta go, so I'll put more later. xD
K! Thx! I am kinda excited cuz my school duz this Maud Heart Lovelace thing and Princess Acadamy (BY Shannon Hale! U proubly know that its by her..)is on the list! I have been wanting to read it, but I just haven;t gotten myself too..now I have a reason to force myself!! :) So any opinions....whats ur fave book (AND U CAN ONLY PICK 1!!!) Mines proubly Enna Burning! I like goose girl the same but Enna Burning has a better start...the beginning on Goose girl (in my opinion) dragged on....

Book of Bayern: this one's too hard! It's been too long since I've read them! I'll say... The Goose Girl because I really did love it.
depends on what your looking at. I love both to death. The movie is also amazing. a plus for the book is that it was written exactly how she wanted it, whereas the movie and play were written later and are slightly different. Also, the play keeps changing. so I don't know if what I saw is the same as it is now. xD
The musical was funnier, I thought, than the book, which is still pretty good, just...not as funny. Granted, I saw the musical first, and I tend to prefer that which I saw/read first, so...Oh, and if we're talking in terms of Shannon books, my favourite is Enna Burning, hands down.
I saw the musical first too. idk. I loved it and all, but I tend to prefer books. not that I like one more than the other, I like both pretty much the same. though I liked in the book that the SP was a lot smarter as well as Marguerite figured out who the SP was herself. in the play she asked. in the play I liked how we say some meetings of the SP's band and that Marguerite talked to the SP as the Pimpernel, not knowing who he was. that was way cool. so I like them about equally. xD
