Brothers

I'm looking for scifi/fantasy books featuring brothers - but fighting on the same side, not against each other, books where the fact that they are brothers means something, where they have some deeper bond, where it's not just a random thing that the book could do just as well without. Examples?
Fantasy: Jane S. Fancher's "Dance of the Rings" trilogy
Scifi: Wen Spencer's "Endless Blue" or the "Ukiah Oregon" series
Any recommendations?
Pandemonium by Daryl GregoryThe Shadow Year by Jeffrey Ford
Also, Roger Zelazny's Amber series features brothers on both sides of the struggles.
Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman starts the Dragonlance Chronicles. It has a large group of characters, including a pair of twins.
I'm currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch, which also has a set of twin brothers. They're more supporting cast than main characters though.
Lois Bujold's novels of Miles Vorkosigan has some interesting interactions between Miles and his clone-brother Mark.

Mirror Dance is the most prominent of these.
