There's Dogeaters by Jessica Hagedorn a book about the Martial Law years.In Australia, Arlene J. Chai ("The Last Time I Saw Mother" and "Eating Fire and Drinking Water") and Merlinda Bobis ("White Turtle") are making waves.
Maybe others will add to that...
But honestly, I haven't read those. They're way too expensive here, despite the fact that National Bookstore is having a book sale discount.
