2241602 I'm with Jael, although I just got Let the Right One In from the library today. I vote for either of them!

426768 Ok, I'm going to go for a classic for my suggestion. How about reading Dracula?

1922584 Shannon, that book sounds very interesting. I'll have to add it to my tbr list.

I'm going to nominate The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro. it's been on my tbr for a while and i'm hearing its really good and creepy!

426768 eewweee, no. I hate scary--horror books (looking around--what PN books? Who ME read a PN book?) :o) hum, will have to check and see what I have in my TBR pile that would fit this selection--if anything. I've been knocking the ol' tbr pile down like crazy, since I'm in a couple of reading challenges.

I've already put the above on reserve at the Library--so if this is the one that we pick, hopefully one of the 3 that the library owns will be checked by in on time and be available.

2016128 I nominate:

Let the Right One In A Novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist
Let the Right One In A Novel

It is autumn 1981 when the inconceivable comes to Blackeberg, a suburb in Sweden. The body of a teenage boy is found, emptied of blood, the murder rumored to be part of a ritual killing. Twelve-year-old Oskar is personally hoping that revenge has come at long last---revenge for the bullying he endures at school, day after day.

But the murder is not the most important thing on his mind. A new girl has moved in next door---a girl who has never seen a Rubik’s Cube before, but who can solve it at once. There is something wrong with her, though, something odd. And she only comes out at night. . . .
