Nophoto-f-25x33 Hi Yoby; I just spotted this thread and wanted to send my greetings and good wishes in your writing efforts; I've always enjoyed reading your posts here. I, too, am trying to find time to write, but not having much luck, I'm afraid. I spend my working hours writing on the computer (reviews of medical records, so nothing creative) and since I work at home, it's the same room, same computer and same chair, and more often than not my rear-end rebels at spending any more time in this chair!

I know what you mean about missing some good discussions; I've only been able to pop in occasionally lately and wish I could keep pace with the scheduled reading here so I could participate a little more. I'm planning on jumping back in soon.

I hope you find a way to balance your reading and writing time; I've always found your posts here to be thoughtful and well written, but if we don't see you here, I hope that means the creative energy is flowing for you and you're pursuing your writing dreams! I'm glad you took the time to say "hi" :-)

Nophoto-f-25x33 Good luck with your writing, Yoby! If your posts are any indication of your writing style, whatever you aspire to in the field of communication will surely meet with success. I am in awe of all of those on CR who can manage to both read, write and create as much as you all do. I barely have the energy or time to read much less write! and create? Do "to do" lists count? Maybe I need geritol!

495963 Yoby, good luck with the writing. My friends who write are very driven and focussed when it comes to the pen attacking the paper they can go awol for a bit. Quite understandable. Come back and see us soon after your winter hibernation from CR :)

340071 Oh, Yoby, I wish you could do both. Please check in from time to time even if you are not reading.

335756 Yoby,

You are missed here - I always found your contributions stimulating. Hopefully I'll get to read some of the writing that you are working on. Many good wishes.

335159 Come back as soon as you can!

555726 I've missed seeing you too, Yoby, and hearing your voice here. Good luck on "writing more than reading"! Not an easy balance for many of us here, I would imagine, or at least not for me.

193297 I was wondering where you were! Prayers and good wishes from me to you. I hope that all your research and reading and writing won't prevent you from posting here ONCE in a while. We miss you, too.

1847137 I am trying to write more than I read, and to read in areas that are more along the lines of what I am writing to understand how to do it, though all writers say that how you do it is just to thrash it out and do it. But I've missed some great discussions on some of my favorites. You guys make me tired with your endless energy to have jobs and do all this reading, reasearch and intelligent commenting. You all are such an inspiration. Would love prayers and good wishes. Love, yobs
