i highly reccomend it it is really good- my friend Gina at work lent it to me telling me i would love it.
i havent read much of the book yet and i started the hunger games which is really good and a quick read. i think house of leaves will be a slow one for me to read
well house of leaves is not available on the kindle and after buying it now i know why.
i know when we read stiff there was a lot of footnotes and it is not easy to navigate to read them and then get back to the page you are reading

Good point. How does Amazon handle books such as this and Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close? How does it handle any book that has funky font things going on.
I went and bought the book this afternoon 40% off borders - YAY for coupons!
I will try and start it this weekend.
I gotta admit I am having trouble mainly because I just can't get focused. There is so much BS already and I am trying to surpass it.
I am having a hard time getting into this book. Is anyone else having this problem? I keep going because I wanna give it a try but I am not really crazy about it.
oh god if it was on the kindle i would never be able to figure the book out lol i am going to dive into it tonight. it definately is a bit intimidating but i think it will play into its spookyness
I like the idea hat's it's style is different but it is also intimidating LOL! Godd Luck Jen, I am glad you brought it instead of the kindle!
so i just picked it up yesterday and am going to start reading it tonight. i didn't realize it was such a crazy book on the insude typing this way and that way, upside down, i think this book may take some time for me to get through as well- but maybe once i start it i will understand the crazy way it is printed?
OK. This one is going to take me quite some time. Not because it is a fairly large book but because I keep getting sidtracked and forgetting what's going on. Not so much the authors fault but I keep drifting off to something else.
I just started it! It's fairly cheap considering... But borders is offering free s&h on orders over $10 and it's cheaper online than in the store
I don't think I am going to get it from the library in time .... maybe I will spend my lunches in Border's and slowly read through their copies like a slacker.
looks like I have another excuse to read it! Thanks for inviting me to the group Donna :)(Went out and bought House of Leaves today... soo excited! :)
Well it looks like House of Leaves wins! Now I have no more excuses not to read it! I know many of you have read it too so you're off the hook...
HAHA. I thought STIFF was interesting but I probably would'nt have read it if it weren't for this Bookclub.
Sarah's Key is a read for my work Bookclub and then House of Leaves because of the obvious!
I couldn't possibly have an actual list of order for when I am going to read books. I am in the middle of like 4 different series and throw in some others to break it up. STIFF killed me and threw me off my reading track.
I brought it awhile back when it came out on Paperback but it is 3rd on my list.
1- The Lie - Chad Kultgen
2- Sarah's Key (completely different from above LOL)
3- House of Leaves
