I am going for this challenge. I plan to read Little Women as my first book, and then travel to Germany with The Glimmer Palace. After that I'll just have to see!

This is on my "to get from the library" list. I've read amazing reviews. Probably in 2010.
10, Europe - Sweden - The Girl Who Played with Fire - Stieg Larsson(11/27/2009)
A 5 star book. I loved it.
11. Europe - Denmark - Smilla's Sense of Snow- Peter Høeg(12/21/2009)
4 stars - I really enjoyed it. But my, am I behind. Planned to be at 20 books by Dec 14. I'll try and pick up the pace after the first of the year.

How did you like it? I am getting ready to read it.
I liked it a lot. Gave it 4 stars. I do seem to be stuck on WW II novels, however. One for each country. A whole new challenge. It is a book that manages to have some very humorous moments while dealing with a horrific subject.

Wow - I'm being read by a frequent flyer! A is for Australia. lol I lived in Argentina for 6 months once, I may just take a look at Heaven of Drums to see if it reminds me of my time there.
Karen, this is such an amazing challenge. Good luck and make sure you have plenty of strong black tea on hand to deal with the jet lag :-)

Lots of strong black tea is always at hand, though occasionally I'll go for a blackish oolong! I'm looking forward to reading your book. It's # 3 on the list!
