We're going to vote for October and November's book selections at the same time again. We'll take the first 14 book title nominations and I'll split them up in to two groups of seven in the Polls. The winner from each group will be our Group Read for October and then November.

The rules for submitting a book title:
1) One submission per UF member (regardless of whether we are nominating for more than one month at a time)
2) Please submit the title and author
3) UF titles are preferred, but supernatural, sci-fi, and fantasy are acceptable too.
4) It must be the first book in a series or a stand-alone title
NOTE = If the title is in a series, but can be read without previous knowledge of the earlier books, feel free to submit it.
5) If we have already read and discussed the first book in the series as a group, the second title can be submitted.

We'll go to a total of 14 nominations or an end date of Monday, September 14th - whichever comes first.

Thanks for the catch, Dawn. I've corrected it.

Three Days to Dead has a release date of 11/24/09, so it would work better as a nominee for December. Definitely on my TBR list!

I guess if Three Days to Dead wins, we'll roll it over to December's Group Read since it has that later release date. The runner-up would win for November if that is the case.

i have read urban shaman. i think the group will enjoy this book.

I read it a couple of years ago & enjoyed it. I Have the second & third books in the series on my bookshelf; just haven't gotten around to reading them yet.

Urban Shaman is now on it's way to me from the library. I've been excited to read it since I voted in the polls.

I just bought Urban Shaman and can't wait to buy On the Edge the 29th!!!!
