2326346 OOooOO. I learned ASL last yr. It was really interesting. My whole class learned it because one of our classmates had two deaf parents, but he wasn't deaf and neither was his sister.

There's a lot of language classes at my school … Spanish, French, Mandarin, German, ASL, Latin … ahhh I think that's it. I just stick with Spanish, because I love it. :]

I know what you mean! My school only offers Spanish and the only language that I want to learn is French, too.

2443604 I have to read The Moves Make the Man for English. Ugh, it's SO FRIGGIN ANNOYING! The style is very difficult to get through. It uses pointless fragments sometimes, and for others, the sentences just never stop. Oh, and the worst thing about it? There isn't a single quotation mark in the entire book! That really gets on my nerves. I hate reading things like this:

I can't believe you'd do that to me, I said, trying not to cry. You're the worst person on the planet.
I hate you too, he shouted.

I hate that! Oh, and there are four (I think) parts to the book. Well, by the end of the first part, nothing important had happened. The main character had just rambled for pages about the baseball players' uniforms, even though he says he hates baseball a million times. Ugh. I hate reading books for school.

1889502 Poor you. It stinks because I want to learn French, but our stupid schools only offer German or Spanish, and since I can't spell german words for the life of me, I guess I am going to be stuck with Spanish. Lucky me. But oh well. Lol, I'm typing all of this on my iTouch!

Yaaay I am not the only person who thought that book was boring! Thank you! lol :P I liked that other book by that author … Princess Academy. That was cute. But I found The Goose Girl annoying.

1478685 That's an interesting title... The Goose Girl was just really slow, all of my friends wanted me to read it and they kept saying you just have to get to the middle of the book for it to be really good, but I got farther than the middle and it just became a nuisance to try and read it, because it was so boring!

2116203 Title: Running with the Resovoir Pups

Reason: It's so depressing & weird

message 253: by Hope (new)

1478685 The Goose Girl! I never even finished reading it the first time! I would definitely not read any of it again!

Tithe is honestly the stupidest and most horrible book in the world. It has no plot, the characters are stupid and flat, nothing makes sense, the writing style is horrible, there are about a million plot holes, and Holly Black uses swearwords every other word, and it's so annoying. Basically, every single thing that could be wrong about a book is. It's horrible.

1889502 I've heard of the first one, and the second one sounds very vaguely familiar (idk), but I haven't heard of the third.

message 240: by Acacia, the Great and Powerful Empress of Insanity! (new)

2518690 Oh, you know what's an annoying book? Anne Frank's diary. I know it's all 'timeless' and 'revealing', but it's also boring as hell.

message 239: by Niki, the Great and Powerful Empress of Sarcasm! (new)

1014503 Because people are stupid, and they have no idea what good writing is. Why are authors like Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts, and Nicholas Sparks famous, Jess darling?

message 238: by ♥Jess♥, the Empress of Maturity. God knows, we need one of them! (new)

1889502 Okay, this is the first book in the series (I'm reading the second to see if it gets any better) and anyway, it SUCKED. I'm serious. The writing just.... isn't good. It's..... undesriptive, cliche, annoying as hell (sometimes you just want to scream at the characters, "ARE YOU FREAKING DENSE!?!?!?!?!?"), and just all around bad. I don't get why there are so many fans for this. I HATE THIS BOOK. It's called The Awakening, I think. It;s in the Vampire Diaries series. And for some, odd, unfathomable reason, I have heard nothing but good things about this book. SO WHY DOES IT SUCK?????
