Since I have already read Andrew Jackson His Life and Times by H. W. Brands, I would be up for the pick you have there by Robert Remini. But if anyone hasn't read Brands' Jackson, it was exceptional. I would guess it's not as comprehensive, and probably an easier read, than that of Remini's. Jon Meacham's American Lion Andrew Jackson in the White House would be another good choice.
Any suggestions for Andrew Jackson? The most comprehensive one volume is The Life of Andrew Jackson but I know there are a lot out there.
