2598408 It's a six-part series that consists in very chort chapters. The scene takes place in San Francisco and deals with a lot of different characters. It has good reviews and listed in a lot of best book list. It's supposed to be very funny, very sad, very entertaining, very Everything actually...! Lots of my friends are currently reading them.

message 44: by Jo (new)

2457455 I want to read The Historian. You will have to let me know what you think of it. Also let me know what you think of A Dirty Job!

message 45: by Jim (new)

695116 I really liked Lonesome Dove, although there is one scene in it that gives me the creeps (snakes!) to this day. Must have been well since it stuck with me so well & it's been a decade or more since I read it. I liked the movie (mini-series?) too.

A Dirty Job was a lot of fun. I can only take so much of that sort of humor, but it was a quick read & interesting.

message 46: by Dean (new)
