I really enjoyed this book. By the last hundred pages I found myself laughing out loud. Being Chick-Lit it is a little predictable but still fun.
The beginning started off slow for me. I was tempted to put it down, but I hate to give up on a book. There were def lines in there that made me laugh. The whole part in Seattle wasn't the best. I did like how to ended the book.
I just started this book. It's a quick read so I might finish it tonight. I like the back and forth narative style so far.
***Spoilers***There are so many funny lines in this book that I am compelled to share.
Since I live in Florida, I like this one.
(Phil referring to Brady's grandfather) "'We're all dying, Dude. And he's in Florida. He's halfway there.' This is true. I've always called Florida 'God's Waiting Room'." pg. 64
(Brady) "I don't have herpes. But those Valtrex commercials sure do make it seem like a hell of a lot of fun." pg. 144
Okay there are more, but those are the ones I can remember right now.
I am currently on page 177. I am really loving this book. I can see it being adapted into film---and it should be. It would a great movie. Caprice Crane is very witty. The two main characters are very relatable. I love how the book gives you both povs of the main characters.
I just started reading it today! I really like the author's style, and I think it's neat how she switches between his and her points of view.
I absolutely loved this book. I was constantly finding myself laughing out loud and how can you beat that?!? It was a very cute story, a quick read and I enjoyed it!!
