I've read 13 and have 9 in my TBR pile.

I've read 10.25...I started Swan Song but never finished it. You really shouldn't try to read that and the Stand back to back.

As usual, I'm bringing up the rear (that doesn't sound right) with 7. I started Something Wicked recently, but, as usually happens with Bradbury, the book pissed me off for some reason, so I stopped.

LOL. I have never heard anyone say that Bradbury pissed them off. What did he do?

Tressa, I can’t quite put my finger on it. I don’t know if it was because he depicted every character as a philosopher poet, or painted everything with a bit too much nostalgia, but I just got annoyed. And as unhelpful as that explanation was, I really have no idea why “Martian Chronicles” pissed me off. I guess it’s like two people who rub each other the wrong way, without knowing why or how. I just can’t read Bradbury.

Rusty, in Danse Macabre Stephen King writes that he admires SWTWC, but even he admits that the boy characters and the father (or grandfather?) are too saccharine and wise for their own good. I think that got tedious for him.
