1989238 I'm sorry you wasted your time with this one; but thank you for eliminating it from my TBR. It's so frustrating to read a really bad book. Unfortunately, I hit a few in a row last week. :(

1838330 Well, I finished it. Fortunately it was a short book (246 pages). I gave it one star. Here's the review I posted:

This story of 9-11 in New York was very bad. The writing was very choppy and rambled about. The characters were hollow, listless and I found I didn't care about any of them. The dialog was boring and it was often hard to tell who was talking. The scenes were short and disconnected. If the actual event were not already ingrained in our brains by the shock and horror, it would be impossible to understand any of this story.
