Thanks Mary for the welcome! This group seems to be a wonderful place and I would love to be the victim of your bad influence. That is going to be great fun! Happy reading to all book addicts!

Thanks Jill! I would love to have The white tiger as a group read.
I hope you have heard about the Indus Valley Civilisation. The famous river Indus rises in the Tibetan MOuntains, flows west across northern India and south through Pakistan. I live near those southern parts of Pakistan. The Pakistani culture varies widely.

1824106 Hi Yusra, welcome to book addicts. I have The White Tiger on my TBR list. Keep hoping the group will vote it as a read.

What part of Pakistan do you live in? I always like to learn about other countries and cultures.

I live near Houston, Texas in the USA.

1993508 Hello everyone! I am Yusra from Pakistan and I am a book addict.I am a freshman and I am majoring in business administration. In Pakistan, there is a dearth of book addicts and none of my friends loves reading books but I have been fortunate enough to find this group where I can discuss all sorts of books I have read.
I recently read The White Tigerby Aravind Adiga. I enjoyed reading almost every part of the book and would recommend it to everyone. The book gives a detailed account of the journey of a man named Balram Halwai from the poverty of the poor village in the country side to being a success in India.

Thank you
Yusra
