It looks really nice. I only know the Princess Diaries books in this collection, so which book can you recommend? ~Lisi

Thanks again for your help!
THe princess Diaries books were a fun enough read but certainly not my favourites.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Percy Jackson series to fans of potter. Although the series is unique and fantastic in its own right -the similaries between them would certainly attract lovers of potter and those who love an original, fast-paced, greek-myth-inspired, comedical series.
Shiver was AWESOME. I am -not- a fan of Twilight. (not to upset the many twilight fans out there- it just wasn't my thing. Many people seem to compare the two books however and so I will point out that fans of Twilight will most likely love Shiver too BUT furthermore, Shiver attracts those looking for something more mature and genuine than the paranormal romance depicted in Twilight.) Shiver kicks Twilight arse. The writing was simply devine. Maggie Stiefvater is really talented. A new favourite author, hands down.
Another favourite read this year was Smudge's Mark. I LOVED it. I'm not sure if it's out where you live because I think it's only out in Canada right now (I could be wrong and I should check on that) It was an awesome adventure. The characters made the story that much more enjoyable- I loved every one of them- even the nasty ones.
Oh..and the books in the 39 clues series are light, fast-paced, excellent reads.
If you haven't noticed- I'm a lover of young adult & children's fiction. I'm 21 and surrounded by fellow (and might I add, snooty) english majors all the time. I certainly do love some classics and so I won't say that I don't read outside of the YA genre, because I most certainly do, but I will say that nothing compares to it. I will remain a devoted reader of YA until I'm 115. =)
I can recommend you everything by Sarah Dessen so far, especially "Just Listen". And then I also recommend you Jodi Picoult's books. I have only read three of them so far, but I really adored them all. I want to thank you for your recommendations, I will check them out as soon as I have some money to buy new books. Thank you again. And yay for reading your 31st book, this is wonderful, I am sure you will be able to read 50 books a year.
