Here's the list of "FALL" Challenge Books taken from the pages of the Bookmarks Book Review section. I have included ALL books listed in Bookmarks that meet the challenge criteria for a total of sixteen books. You have plenty to choose from. So pick one - or more - read it and post. Please start a separate thread for each book in this folder. Remember, you can buddy up; so get some chatter going about the book/books you're interested in.

I recently purchased The Falls A Novel by Joyce Carol Oates and Another Thing to Fall by Laura Lippman from Goodwill. I'm anxious to read those.Fallen by David Maine is also on my Busy as a Bee Books list.
I'm also interested in reading Stone's Fall A Novel by Iain Pears.
I just got the Iain Pears from my book swap and I've got "A Great Idea at the Time" on my TBR list. Anything that can help me pick the next TBR from the stink-eye shelf is wonderful!
That's great! I thought this might be one more way to motivate us to read books on our list or entice us to read other Bookmarks books. I was amazed at how many books have some variation of the word "fall" in their title, especially when I looked at my own shelves. :P
Stones Fall is very good but it's not a quick read. You'll want to savor the language. Definitely worth the time though. I've had Things Fall Apart on my TBR list forever so this will give it priority.
I really hope I have time to read Fall of Frost A Novel by Brian Hall. I read another book by Hall, I Should Be Extremely Happy in Your Company A Novel of Lewis and Clark, which was an historical fiction account of Lewis & Clark. I thought it was very well done and am interested to see if he does as good a job with Frost.
I'm starting with Another Thing to Fall by Lippman, since I happen to have that one around at the moment. I'm going to look through the stack I have of TBR's and see what else might have "fall" in the title.

I got it at Goodwill a few weeks ago and am looking forward to it. I read another Lippman book this summer, which I also got from Goodwill, and loved it.
Just went to the library and got The Fallen by T Jefferson Parker, and Falling Man A Novel by Don DeLillo. Will work on those in the next week or so.
