Who cares if Nanowrimo's over? I never finished my book. My goal: finish the story this week.
I now have over 72k on it.
It's sooo exciting!
Happy Holidays everybody!
Back to my story . . . I finished Nanowrimo. Hallelujah, but I think I want to focuse on editing for a little while. :D
Sadly, it has taken me 2 hours to try and get my 47,000 word Nano story up on the computer. This sucks. Plus I still have homework to do. ugh.
Curses. I have more to add for this weekend.-I got a babysitting job for saturday night.
HOW STUPID OF ME! ESPECIALLY AFTER I GET ON HERE AND RANT ABOUT HOW CHAOTIC EVERYTHING IS IN NOVEMBER!
-After school tomorrow I have to go "meet the child"
oh what a joy that will be.
No, it's all melted. You want to know what I hate about NaNoWrimo? Well I can list several things.
-The fact that it's a rough draft.
I so desperately want to go back and edit out the absolutely horrible parts, because I KNOW THEY'RE THERE! And it's driving me insane.
-I currently have a book that's half-way to perfection, and needs more editing!
I came up with a new ending to it all today, so I had to give up NaNo for a few hours into order to add notes so that I can write about it later.
-The sequel to my half-way edited book sits alone and untouched, suffering from a writers block syndrome.
I so desperately want to open it up and write it, but NO! I have to stick to my NaNo story!
-I'm already thinking of the sequel to my NaNo story, and the book after it!
No need of an explanation.
-I am so freaking sick and tired of school homework.
Romeo and Juliet just make it worse. It's inane to think about their love, and then read about it during English.
-My friends want to get together every weekend.
Apparently every friday is movie night. Where we watch movies till midnight. I might just have to back out of it tomorrow.
Last but not least:
-NEW MOON IS RELEASED TONIGHT!
I was so caught up in NaNoWriMo, that I totally forgot until the beginning of this week that New Moon is going to be released TONIGHT! The fact of it still hasn't hit me yet.
-I will be traveling to the theater to see New Moon Saturday morning, and then go shopping.
That takes a lot out of my weekend for writing my NaNo story.
So I guess my 37,245 word count will have to be pumped up as much as I can tonight. (my goal is 40,000 by ten o' clock.) And then it will be up to Thanksgiving break for me to find my inner soul and write my brains out into the words. If that makes any sense.
I mean, don't you see?! All of this writing has brought me to gibberish!
Aw, lucky. Is it the sort you can make a snowman out of? It doesn't snow over here even in winter. Gets jolly cold though.
I just got to the Inciting Incident of my nano story! I'm so excited. The plus to all this, everything's going to be so much more fun to write! The downer: everything's going to be much much harder to write now. *sigh*
ha ha, that was yesterday. I still haven't written anything today because of a killer writer's block! But Eventually I'll get past it. :D
If you guys want to keep knowing what my word count is for Nano, you just gotta go to my nano page, because I'm writing like a maniac.14k now :D
8,865 words in the past two days. I am on a ROLL! I never thought that I'd write that much in two days. And you know, this section of the book is the hardest to write. Once I get into the Rising Action, I will be absolutely amazing. Hmm. Maybe I should write a more descriptive outline of my story tonight, before I go to bed. Ha ha. I might write tomorrow, I might not, mostly because it's my busiest day of the week tomorrow.
Anyways, good luck to all the nanoers out there! Keep writing!
Just a day, just an ordinary day . . .
So the other day I was coming up with last names for my characters in my new story, and I forgot to save it. So I had to try and remember 12 names that I had to change for my story. Ugh.
But my writing's coming along, and thank heavens November is less than a week away. My nano story is waiting for me to write the first words on the pages of the story.
No, just by some form of magic.
But I'm having one of my moments. I'm not going to get on goodreads for a little while . . .ha ha. I'll probably fail though . . .
Sorry, Pammy, you snooze, you lose!
*cackles evilly*
Annie, are the smoking holes made by cigarette burns?
