305220 Sometimes the book pops up after I've searched in vain and while I'm in the middle of a manual add.

I would love to know how it does that!

2191574 oh okay. Coolness. Thanks, guys.

171430 It is set up that way deliberately, to encourage everyone to do a search before adding a new book. Many times it will come up without a manual add.

1188122 Rachael is correct; under the "other options" heading on the search page, the first option is to manually add books. Here's a direct link to the page.

1065804 The way I usually get to it is (1) search for my book (2) once I determine that what I want isn't listed, on the right top of the search results page there is a section that says "other options" and the first option is "manually add books." There might be a more immediate way to get there, but I always use that way to ensure that the book isn't already in the database.

2191574 I can't find anything that will let me add a book to the goodreads database. Just wondering, is this a bug or have I overlooked something...
