I was just wandering...do you know what the series is going to be called? Skanadian apprentice... Lol Im just kidding but ya do you know? I have ordered books 4-9 from austrailia because they have not come out in the u.s. Yet.
Yeah I think it has something to do with Skandians and living in Skandia or something. They might have a few references to Araluen and such but I don't think It'll be about Rangers.
Lucky! I really hope his next series doesn't deal as much with Rangers. As much as I love the Ranger thing, I'd like to see John try something new!
I'm a member of a message board where some of the people are personal buddies with John...so they keep me updated. :)
And yeah, It does! I cannot wait to see Will with an apprentice...Oh good times hehe...I heard that his new series is going to take place in the same universe but with a young Skandian boy (probably 15, like Will was starting out).
No. This is not the last book in the series to what I know. There will be a pause between books nine and ten because John is starting a new series but there will be another book. It will take place about 20 or so (maybe less) years after Book Nine and Will is going to have his own Apprentice, I think. I think book ten will be the last but John may write more if he feels so.
I've been searching the internet for a little while, and I was just wondering if Flanagan has mentioned how many books he expects to write in this series. The synopsis doesn't make Halt's Peril sound like a last volume in the series, but it also doesn't look like Flanagan is actively working on a tenth book. Any information on this?
