2610335 Physical Science is somewhat vague - it cam mean so many different things! Any particular branch you're going to focus on? Just off the top of my head I can think of a bunch of different evolution-related books (if you want to go there) such as Evolution, Me & Other Freaks of Nature or Ringside, 1925 Views from the Scopes Trial or Monkey Town The Summer of the Scopes Trial. There are also tons of sci-fi books with their own versions of science that sometimes even make sense. I know that l'engle, madeleine consulted scientists for all of her books, but she might be a bit young for a High School classroom (although that might be a good thing in a non-english class! (: ).

I'll keep thinking and hopefully have some more soonish.

2518510 I will teach physical science in high school. I am considering adding fictional young adult literature to my curriculum. Does anyone have book suggestions for a progressive physical science classroom? I am especially interested in books with multicultural characters. I'm hoping this strategy will help students become more interested in science.
