I've also read River God and quite liked. Apparently Warlock A Novel of Ancient Egypt is in the same line. I'd like to nominate that.
Season of the Witch by Natasha Mostert, I've done some reseach and she grew up in south africa and says she was inspried to write about the paranarmal by her childhood nanny who was a witch doctor!!!

I thought it would be fun to have a monthly read that is South African themed.Everyone can nominate a book and i will put up a poll.
It can be anything about SA, it can be a South African author, it can be about anything African. The story can be set in Egypt even. Anything African themed or with a African themed cover/title.
