721021 I like how Jim separated the words "psycho" and "analysis".

message 576: by Jim (new)

1668388 I second RA's welcome John. The psycho analysis that you may receive here should help remove the scar.

message 575: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 Yeah, I meant to say that too.

721021 Welcome to TC, John! Heh...not a bad first post...

message 573: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 How do you say "non sequitur" in Chinese?

message 572: by John (new)

Nophoto-m-25x33 I have a scar. My dad brought me to see "On Golden Pond," I was never the same...

966475 Heidi's the only one I know who can find a thread. She's got powers like that.

message 569: by Larry (new)

1144499 Wise choice, Jaimie. Let's just hope you didn't scar it for life.

I took it to see Paranormal Activity. I needed something to hide behind. :-P

message 567: by Larry (new)

1144499 Don't mention it.

message 566: by Windfall Apple (new)

2848638 aw,,so sweet, thanks for that Larry.

message 565: by Larry (new)

1144499 They love you, too, WA.

message 564: by Windfall Apple (new)

2848638 I love these threads!

message 563: by RandomAnthony (new)

721021 Ah, now I understand. Took me a while. And remember, I also said I couldn't do algebra. Not really bright lately, I'm afraid.

message 562: by Jim (new)

1668388 I was saying that she took it away from the algebra thread so that it wouldn't be educated.

message 561: by RandomAnthony (new)

721021 How do we know the movie was educational? They could have seen Police Academy or something...

message 560: by Larry (new)

1144499 We must not forget that it's main function is to be an obstruction.

message 559: by Jim (new)

1668388 Yes, there is nothing worse than an educated ficus.

message 558: by Jaimie (new)

1594222 ::sneaks in and brings back the ficus::

I rescued it from the algebra thread and took it to a movie.

199326 Hey, Windfall. I've enjoyed your participation hereabouts quite a bit.

message 555: by Windfall Apple (new)

2848638 'Ah, the dear dead days of my New England life...'

love that line Gail, hi! from Windfall.

message 554: by Gail (new)

199326 Re: message #543: droooool....

Granny Smiths are excellent, but so are Macintosh or Winesaps, fresh from the trees...

And those naturalized apple trees that come from the old cider apples, all small and wizened? They make terrific missiles for kids wanting to rough it up a bit without getting hurt too much. And they leave your clothes smelling quite delightfully of apples, leaves, and fall.

Ah, the dear dead days of my New England life...

Hi Heidi! good to know you..
Don't you like windfall apples?? the sweetest by far.

message 545: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 I once read a really interesting piece about someone being particular about her apples, when her roommate went out and asked if she could pick her something up at the grocery.

Ah yes, it was from this: Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life
One of my favoritest books ever.

message 544: by BunWat (last edited Oct 30, 2009 03:35PM) (new)

747169 Apples or men... the eternal dillemma. I say, why choose?

message 543: by Lori (new)

744602 Screw the apples, let's get back to priorities here!

Connery at any age will do. *sigh* (Sorry Kevin)

PS. Altho I have to admit, after seeing that scrumptious apple above, I'm off to eat one immediately.

Sorry I'm late to this convo... I've been away for a little while. Hi Windfall Apple.

Apples are my favorite food EVER! :) Fuji & Granny Smith - that's what I prefer.

If I had my druthers, I'd have a New Zealand, Aztec, or a China Fuji every day (4131, produce #).

See?!! Doesn't it look heavenly? You know you waaaant one. :)

Don't wanna! I've never cared to see a Bond film but it was a Thanksgiving Day and my step-father in law wanted to see it.

Besides this weekend is otherwise occupied by old horror movies in Turner Classic Movies. :-)

message 538: by Jaimie (new)

1594222 And whatever floats your boat is fine with me. :-)

message 537: by Windfall Apple (new)

2848638

Hi Jaimie, who is apparently tied to me, Jim and ficus.

I'm usually called Windfall but you can take your pick!

Oh! I also have aquired a snake here which has a penchant for serenading a boa with a ukelele.

Floats my boat anyway...

message 536: by Gus (new)

1047204 Jaimie, and of all the Bond films you've seen, you've seen the absolute worst Bond film ever. You must rectify this at one. I recommend you watch Goldfinger immediately.

message 535: by Jaimie (new)

1594222 Oh! Bond! I've only ever seen one Bond movie all the way through. It's the one with Pierce Brosnan and Denise Richards.
