What I think that could happen is that..Eragon finding out about a way to defeat Galby. So he will probably go on some journey with Shapira, possibly. I'd say only about a few days because he doesn't want to leave the varden undefended.

In those few days some epic battle happens and Nasusda dies, those who were tiring to kill her originally...with out Eragon the Varden make a quick choice of a new leader, Roran, because he proven himself.

other then the obvious near the end when gably vs eragon is going to happen.

It's only a few few ideas I have that could possibly happen.

dunno, last book he didn't plan out too well since he had to split it into two books, he could have taken out excess things and ended the series i kinda feel like he want the profits of an extra book

The Idea of the title in the "Inheritance cyle" is a thing or a name that a character in the book(mainly the protagonist) inherits. You cannot inherit a "inheritance".
