1857647 This mix usually makes for an interesting romance. This is when the H/h hate or dislike each other in the beginning, but end up falling for one another in the end! :)

1570669 I like when the h/h are dire enemies more than just the bickering, I don't like you type of enemies. This works better in medieval or paranormal books where initially they are trying to kill each other, kind of like Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I guess I'm weird though.

LOL I'm a little more into the bickering, and intense dislike, personally. I could see how true enemies would be interesting in a paranormal though... :)

1365355 LOL. I concur, Danielle.

1570669 Can you suggest any books like this, NU?

1359426 Practice Makes Perfect by Julie James... this is on my TBR pile, but I'll get to it soon (the prologue at the end of Just the Sexiest Man Alive promised much bickering ;))

1365355 The whole enemies-turned-lovers theme is one of the things I loved about The Spymaster's Lady. :) It has some echoes of Claiming the Courtesan in that the hero kind of wears down the heroine's resistance. He's inexorable, LOL. xD Force of nature.

1125077 Cowboy by J.M. Snyder really had me thinking why these 2 are a pair. And when the opportunity came about for Marcus to rectify his feelings for his partner Kent (the cowboy in the tight, black jeans=D). I was actually wanting him to go for it! I had never seen the main characters so at ends with each other and yet saw such love at the same time. To the point you felt the internal struggle Marcus felt to stay or go.

1365355 Yep, Danielle, the hero in SL is considerably nicer, LOL. But good all the same. Happy reading. :)
