1857647 This is when two characters who are best friends end up falling in love, two people who have known each other their whole lives, or anything else that relates...

Anyone know of any?

1857647 In Duke Most Wanted the characters are REALLY good friends prior to falling for one another...

In Romancing Mister Bridgerton the characters aren't exactly best friends, but she is the sister of his best friend, so there is already a friendship of sorts...and it is the same thing in The Duke And I.

1857647 The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever-Julia Quinn relates to this plot somewhat. The heroine knew the hero her whole life, but they weren't exactly best friends...

1857647 Seduce Me at Sunrise-Lisa Kleypas
This is a great book!

The Sherbrooke Twins- Catherine Coulter

Secret Desires of a Gentleman-Laura Lee Guhrke

883725 This is one of my all-time favorite themes. A few that I enjoyed:
Always to Remember by Lorraine Heath
Beauty Like the Night by Liz Carlyle
First Comes Baby by Janice Kay Johnson
The Man Within by Lora Leigh
Night Moves by Julie Kenner
Seventh Heaven by Catherine Anderson
Tonight or Never by Dara Joy

2125909 I haven't read many of her books, but Doesn't Lora Leigh have this theme a lot?

This is one of my favorite themes as well, and I know I've read a bunch of them by various authors, so I'll try to come up with some specific titles to add to the list (though it seems the more I think about it, the less I remember)!

925549 Hot Mail is good. The guy is blind to his best friend being in love with him for years. It's a steamy one.

785960 Yes, Sobia. Every single Lora Leigh book that I've read has this theme. Someone just recently referred to it as part of Leigh's "formulic writing". Funny but true!

I'm a HUGE fan of the reunion romance theme, but I'm not sure that necessarily overlaps with the best friends/known-each-other-their-whole-lives theme.

Just One of the Guys by Kristan Higgins sort of has this theme. Very funny book!

Sandra Hill's Cajun Cowboy series also has this theme.
