I went and bought it last night and I am stoked to start it!

I would be most interested in Emma....the rest of them I'm basically indifferent to.

Nophoto-f-25x33 I'm game for any of Austen's novels. Am I correct in assuming that we'll be reading only 3 for the fall??

YAY!

Nophoto-f-25x33 Emily- I think that is the only way I am in on this!

2327477 certainly Emma and sense and sensibility are on my voting list too. Some of her works are truly classic. I loved reading and teaching them.

1237196 I've read all Jane Austen's completed books. I don't mind which one I reread but don't think I'd want to do more than three maximum.

565777 I don't care which ones we read - except Pride and Prejudice since it's the only one I've already read and I would like to read something new by her.
I think we should stick with one a month.

2322209 Well, if we just read three, my favourites are Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

889182 My vote is to just read three. This isn't my only book club and that many books would overwhelm me.

message 4: by Fiona (new)

1356469 And they're all pretty shortish too aren't they>

2322209 Can't we read them all? Six books in three months sounds ok to me.

976884 I'm not a big Austen fan, but I really liked Northanger Abbey so I would recommend that one, it's different.
