One teaspoon finely snipped fresh rosemary
Two teaspoons dried juniper berries, crushed
cup dry Vermouth
cup apple jelly (homemade)
Salmon fillets
freshly ground black pepper
extra rosemary, and thyme to garnish
homemade bread

Preheat oven 400 degrees while in a skillet brown salmon backside up first then front then add to an ovenproof pan. Spoon glaze carefully over each fillet, sprinkle garnish smoothly over each fillet...bake. Serve with rice, fresh vegetables, homemade bread, candles, a large bouquet and champagne.

I am not so good with baking...although I can make incredible Pineapple squares and a number of cookies! You are vegan right? So, I understand why this recipe would not interest you!

I eat vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. I am not neither, but when fasting I will refer to these recipe books. I am also considering becoming a vegetarian since I feel so good after doing it for a week or two, sometimes for three weeks.

I'm the other way ... I'm very good at baking (which is science), but things on top of the stove may as well be voodoo! My husband is the better cook of the two of us. I'll post some favorite recipes here as well. :-)
