2424743 If you could only pick one YA book that was published this year to give to your high school library, what would it be?

2121149 Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce :D

86285 Published this year? Humm... everything seems to be a series that I have read. But Pride and Prejudice and Zombies might get teens reading some Jane Austen with a little mix to it! Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

2424743 Series are okay as long as the newest one was published this year. I'm interested in some of the best series as well.

76164 The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins...although I guess technically it was '08 but it was part of the '08-'09 school year

1619252 The Hunger Games sequelCatching Fire. My second choice would be Fire by Kristin Cashore. It's the prequel to Graceling. Both are amazing and everyone should read them!

2416257 I third Hunger Games and its sequel Catching fire. (even though Catching Fire isn't officially out yet =P)

2135965 The book coming to mind is Once Dead Twice Shy by Kim Harrison. I haven't read the Hunger Games but reading all the reviews I just might give it a try.

2428829 I've read the HON series and I just thought it would go on forever! Hope that chic can finally decide on one fella!! LOL! That love triangle, or should I call it square? They are turnning her into a hussy. It is driving me nuts!!
A YA novel I want to read is Eyes Like Stars (The Théâtre Illuminata Act 1) Has anybody read it? I keep seeing it and hearing good things about it.

446509 I haven't read it yet, but adore the first two books in the series, so I'd say Starclimber :)

YES! I love Graceling! I can't wait for Fire to come out. I pre-ordered it back in June.

She was links to the first two chapters and they are amazing.

All four of those books are excellent choices.

My friend read Eyes Like Stars in one sitting, and said it was fantastic. I'm picking it up this Thursday, when I go to town. I'll let you know how it is!

886144 I love Graceling too! Ack, can't wait for Fire :D

I also have a friend who read Eyes Like Stars. I forget what she told me about it. lol. But it sounds cool, so I think I'll read it. :)

The last book I read was Going Bovine by Libba Bray. It was really good. Kinda bizarre, but I loved it. :]
