My friend Cecilia Woloch just sent me a link to the Poetic Dialog Project, in which she participated. Poets and artists were teamed up together to present a collaboration of image and words.

Wow, that's such an interesting idea! I read/looked at a few, and it really -- it's like... I don't know how to explain what it's like. You know when you read a poem and can tell that the writer just SAW something, something that perhaps nobody else will ever see; but a picture in her mind, clear as day. That's what it makes me think: that here is the poet seeing a picture (except this time it is one we can all see) and molding it into words for us. The beauty of two kinds of art coming together to form something even more wonderful.

I love collaborations with visual artists! I've looked at some of that site and will go back to look at more. Thanks for the link!
