Hello! I agree with Richard that this looks like a safe place to share poetry and am looking forward to reading more! I too am new and considering sharing my own poetry at some point.

Hi my name is Crow I am a author, poet, and musician. I have a poetry book entitled Windows to my Past. I have a sound track on Itunes and I have a new poetry book dropping in a few weeks.

I am SPAM... wow.. interesting I have been called many things but never SPAM... LOL

No problem Richard. When I send a request to become a friend from someone. I provide him or her with information on who I am and what I am doing. I don't recall asking anyone to "buy any of my products” in any email I have every sent. I may have mentioned I have a few projects I am working on and telling people if they wanted to see any videos of me performing or in the studio they could "subscribe to my page", yet never did I say buy my book. If that was your interpretation of my invite for friendship I am sorry for that. If I had invited you out to my book signing I am sorry for that as well. Be well.

I don't consider it SPAM...I think it's smart business and good marketing to contact people who READ e-mail and try to sell your book to them.

I say, good thinking and go for it! Half of the people on here only wish they had a book to "SPAM" the others with!
