My vote goes to "Good Omens..." From Amazon.ca
"...a humanist delight to be savored and reread again and again."
I have a copy from the library and my first impression is that it seems a nice mix of "Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and
"Life of Brian." Besides you can't top Armaggedon.
Just try and see where it gets you.
