Drumroll, please! Here are the 4 choices for the month of September:
1. Good Omens The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman
2. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith and of course, Jane Austen
3. You Suck A Love Story by Christopher Moore
4. More Information Than You Require by John Hodgman
Polls close 1 hour before the meetup (July 28, 2009.)
Ok, I'm going to vote right now, because I TOTALLY want to be seen reading this on the SkyTrain: More Information Than You Require by John Hodgman
My vote goes to "Good Omens..." From Amazon.ca
"...a humanist delight to be savored and reread again and again."
I have a copy from the library and my first impression is that it seems a nice mix of "Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and
"Life of Brian." Besides you can't top Armaggedon.
Just try and see where it gets you.
