Hi my name is Sandy. I am easily initimidated by some of the more learned poetry sites. I love poetry but am not well versed in the classics so have not joined any other poetry group. This sounds friendly and welcoming to beginners who want to learn more about how to read and enjoy a poem.
My name is Crow I am a writer, poet , and author. I current have a poetrt book called Windows to my Pastand I have a new book called "Sinning on my way to Church" it becomes available in the next few weeks.

I too feel initimidated by the more learned and can't understand much when big words are used or the poem is real long.
What are considered the classics? I mean, I know they are the older poems but I need more specifices.
