here's a sentence from the description ~
"Although Molly can't deny her attraction to the ruggedly handsome Sam Dakota, she can't bring herself to trust him--especially with her grandfather pushing them into marriage."
I would fully recommend reading this book!
:)
Hi Melanie ... :-) ... Jan Karon's Mitford parallel's Cedar Cove in so many ways :-) ... I really enjoyed her books. With Father Tim as the main character, there is a strong religiousness to her plots ... I would definitely recommend her books :-)
Thursday's at Eight is one of my favourites! I also enjoyed Morning Comes Softly, and the Dakota Series :-) ... I love reading Macomber books over again :-) ... just like visiting with old friends :-) .. happy reading everyone
I havent read Married in Montana - however, I have read Montana ~ they were orginally written about a year apart.. I had to doublecheck each title, to see which one that I had read. Im going to order Married in Montana soon!
Just bought Susannahs Garden, and Back On Blossom Street.Finished Thursdays At Eight last night, it was a truly wonderful book. Am also getting Married In Montana, have any of you read this one, is it any good?
I would start with the Blossom Street series and her Christmas books. I am going to be starting the angel series soon.
Thank you Melissa. I have ordered The Shop On Blossom Street and A Good Yarn, I'm really looking forward to reading them.
I have a couple of her books in my tbr stack.. I havent read anything yet by Jan Karon, though.Debbie Macomber has several Christmas novels including all of her Angel books..you might try this one A Season of Angels or Angels Everywhere - she also has some stand alone novels that she has released around Christmas time..
here's one Small Town Christmas Return To Promise\Mail-Order Bride
Hope these help!
Thanks girls. I am definitley going to read the series in order, but it was the stand alone novels I was wondering about. You can read these in any particular order right? I was wanting a nice cosy, Christmas novel to read, any recommendations? Also, just wondering, have any of you girls read Jan Karon? She is another author I was wanting to try.
Hi Melanie! You will love Debbie's books, all of them are very good. You can't go wrong with the series. I agree with Melissa, it would be good to read them in order if you can. She has some earlier series that are very good that have been re-released. If you go to her web-site, you can find a list of all her books.
Happy reading.

Debbie Macomber books for a long time..at last count, I have about 55 of her her books. Most of them, I have read. Im anxious to read the others. All of her books are gentle and cozy, one is called Moon Over Water~ this one is more of a "mystery type".
She has several good series, 2 of them are The Cedar Cove Series..it starts with 16 Lighthouse Road (there are 8 books so far in this series, # 9 due out this fall)..Another wonderful series starts with The Shop on Blossom Street, there are 4 books in this series. It would be good to read the series in order, if you can. She has alot of "stand alone" novels as well. I would be glad to help, feel free to send me a message.
:)
Hi there, I am new to Debbie, I only have one of her books which is Thursdays At Eight. I picked it up in a charity shop a few years a go and have never got round to reading it, but today, while looking through my books, I decided to give it a go. I have flicked through it and the story looks wonderfulo, so I am looking forward to reading it. I have been looking at other Debbie Macomber books online and see there are alot, I definitley want to read the knitting series, which other series are good and cosy?
And for the novels, which would you recommned for me to read next? Are all of Dbbies books gentle and cosy? Do I have to read the novels in any particular order?
