Yep, that's the one I posted about: the Book Faery. Feel free to check out Win a Book and drop us an e-mail when you want/need things spread to a wider audience. We post about gives, guest blog posts or interviews you do, or any appearances you make. Sales, too.

I love giveways, especially when combined with an author interview or guest post - a great way to get the word out there and connect with readers! I did one at Librarything and one at Sassy Brit's Alternative-Reads.com as well.
Here is a link to the current giveaway: http://tbfreviews.net/2009/11/16/curse-o...

Thanks Lisa! Glad to be here:) I find they actually feed into each other. I often get inspiration while making music or jewellery (I'm hanging on to UK spelling, LOL).
Congratulations on the release of your book!

Hi everyone, I'm happy to join this group!
I'm Wendy, I'm from the Netherlands and I self-published my first fantasy novel in May this year (Curse of the Tahiéra). Right now I'm working on the sequel (I am so behind on my schedule!). I devote every bit of spare time to writing and playing the Celtic harp. Oh, and jewellery making as well!
best,

Not at all. "Easy, boy," she says, turning to pet the dragon at her side. "You may only eat him if he tries something silly."
heehee ;oP
Hello everyone, I'm Paul, 56, working in further education and writing in any spare time I can get. I have three completed first drafts of novels I'm about to start editing and proofreading. The first should be ready for submission in January. The other two will follow in consecutive months.
I also have three film scripts already touring the world looking for a good home.
I know I still have a lot to learn. I look forward to learning some of it here.
Hello and welcome, Vampire Dark! And huge congrats to you, Lisa. I added your book to my massive TBR wishlist. :o)
Hello, Vampire Dark. I'm so glad I'm part of this group. I also wanted to let you all know that my novel went live two days ago! You can buy Double Out and Back by Lisa Lipkind Leibow at www.RedRosePublishing.com also, if any of you want to add my book to your Goodreads shelf, I would love it! It would help me spread the word that it's available now. Thanks for your support.
I don't think I've posted in this thread yet. My name's Thomma Lyn, and my debut novel Mirror Blue, a literary love story, was released by Black Lyon Publishing in May. I'm hard at work on my next novel (and trying to learn all I can about promotion for my published novel), and I'm happy to be a part of this group!
Wow, so many great people with awesome things going on for them. Welcome everyone and congrats to those who are getting recognized for their hard work.

Welcome Lisa.
Well, I should speak up.I'm Susan Helene Gottfried, of West of Mars. I self-pubbed The Demo Tapes: Year 1 after the demand of my blog readers became too loud to ignore. According to the Big Guys, it had not three but four strikes against it: about a man. About a rock star. Short stories. Previously blog-published.
Strangely, I'm making a profit. Well, NOT so strangely. I clearly had a demand, and as people are finding their way to me, they're seeing how truly irresistible Trevor Wolff really is. It's been a very cool journey so far.

Welcome to our group Becky. Glad to have you on board.
Hello, all.
I am so happy to discover this fantastic author group on Goodreads. I am preparing for the release of my debut novel, Double Out and Back coming soon from Red Rose Publishing (mainstream fiction). I look forward to sharing what I'm doing in advance to create "buzz" and what I should be doing to promote it as the book is released and beyond.
I have not yet added the novel to Good Reads -- I should have the ISDN from my publisher shortly, and will add it as soon as I do.
Thanks for starting this group.

I agree. I've found that many in our business have a way of looking down their nose at others. Can't stand those types.

Sharon, you add such a lovely vibe to our crew. I am sure it is becoming that because that is honestly what we all need right now; a soft place to land. I have found the publishing process exciting with the exception that there is a coldness and aloofness by some who I guess have been jaded by the process. I hope this group in some way can keep us from going into a hard shell and keep our spirits vibrant and positive.

Now, if only I can get Todd to join. He is the #1 supporter of other authors...
