Sure, I do that all the time. Cross challenging saves my life (not really). But sometimes I use one book for as much as 3 challenges. The trick is just to find such a book.

I try to do that as well. Never got one in 4 challenges yet, but have managed 3. lol It's hard enough finding time to read all of these. I have to cross challenge as much as I can. That Reader's Choice category really helps! July has a western category which fits nicely with the Cowboy category on Men We Love. Several of my Armchair Traveller's books fit in with the July challenge (UK for Europe, and Place you'd like to vacation). "J" category for the monthly challenge fits in with "J" on read the month. Etc...

I have at least 4 challenges going on right now so I need to cross over or I will never finish lol... This is all new to me and I'm having fun and my to read pile at home is getting smaller. I would always look at it and tell myself I should read what I have before buying more; but never did. Making it into a challenge gives me a different way at looking at all those books that have been sitting on my shelve for way to long.
