And if the parents don't let kids know what it is and talk to them about it before a certain age than it's their fault. But parents have a right to explain it themselves.

Don't parents have the right to inform their children themselves?
Not if they're going to allow their child to be blind, and taken advantage of. A kid has a right to know, and they need to learn, if a parent isn't responsible enough to teach them, they should be able to search for answers to their questions.

I agree. However, two things often happen.
1. parents don't know what kids are doing online
2. the parents don't know their kids are online in the first place (kids are smarter and sneakier than their parents think)
And website age limits don't mean a thing -- they are violated all the time.
I agree. It is something kids should definitely be educated on. Sex is not a negative thing in the least, but I think it is too prevalent in society, the media, and now the web. I think most children are exposed to more than their parents know. If I were to have kids, I would just not want them to learn about sex from Davis and Kyle discussing their teenage sex lives on goodreads.
I don't think that they are very descriptive of it...now, put ur kid in Roleplay and he could learn something, lolz...
I agree that the media is saturated with sex, but can you blame them? It's what sells, it's what people are interested in.

"Or maybe its just concerned parents who don't want their children listening to 16 year olds detail their active sex lives on an internet debate group, eh?"Not our problem. We don't babysit their kids for them.

Ah, that gave me lulz.
He's an asshole, I'll give you that warning right now. I agree with some of his stuff, others of it, not so much.
Let's see ...Right now I'm re-reading City of Glass and A Wrinkle in Time, and I'm also reading Skin Hunger.
