642041 I don't do the twitter thing, but here's a list of writers who are apparently worth following even in short bursts (I enjoy a couple of them in long format).

Nophoto-f-25x33 I don't tweet either, but there's one I think needs added to this list (and he's even a GoodReads author) -- Wil Wheaton.

642041 I imagine he would be funny. He's a geek's geek, from what I understand.

1167793 He's just a touch bizarre, but that's Twitter for you. It gives a little gloss of bizarre to everyone.

1412037 I've actually never Twittered (or Tweeted, or whatever the proper term is), but I was told yesterday that the author / actor / director Stephen Fry has a very entertaining Twitter feed. I know him best as Jeeves in the BBC's "Jeeves and Wooster" series, based on the stories of P.G. Wodehouse. Now, if P.G. Wodehouse had a Twitter feed I would definitely sign up!

642041 Oh, I would bet that Stephen Fry would have some funny things to say. Still avoiding the whole twitter thing for now.

1167793 Sarah, I've only been on twitter about a week, and already I see it as just another way to talk to one's self. Yes, it advertises itself as a communication medium, but it's really just talking to yourself -- it's very rare for people to talk to each other (I have some 50+ followers right now. I might exchange tweets with 4-5 of them in any one day, and rarely do we manage anything approximating conversation).
