Zombieland Trailer

looks good but i still don't get what in it made Woody Harrelson go crazy and beat up a photgrapher!:)
I saw a preview for this on Friday before Year One. This looks truly like a fun movie, though the zombies run for those finicky zombie fans. I loved the bit about using Purell. My 9 yr. old daughter and I laughed often throughout the trailer. As for Woody beating up a photographer? Well maybe he hadn't had his wake and bake yet that day. ;o)
Woody had just finished filming this and was still in zombie fightin' acting mode when some photographer harrassed him at an airport. So he naturally treated the shutterbug like a zombie. At least that's what he claims. It's the greatest excuse ever for beating someone up....
I was lucky enough to see this at a preview screening a couple weeks ago. I must say it was highly entertaining if not a tad educational. Well maybe not for us seasoned zombie-philes but still. Woody Harrelson is HILARIOUS! It's not a cheesy zombie romp but a clever journey of survivors. A few fun surprises, lots of action, good chemistry with all the actors. I can't wait to see this again!
I went to the midnight opening.I have not laughed that hard at a movie in a long, long time! Plus it had zombies.
I fully support Zombieland. So funny. Hoping they revisit Zombieland with a sequel. Well worth a watch.
I saw the two creators on Attack of the Show last week talking about how they wrote this back in 2005 for a TV series. Obviously no network picked up the pilot. Jerks. Should've been time for the networks to nut up or shut up.
In case anyone is interested, I have been working on a zine about zombies (and horror in general). The first issue came out last winter, but issue #2 was just released this week: leekinginc.com/rigormortis/index.htm
There are excerpts online - a look at both versions of Night of the Living Dead and reality ghost shows.
Here's a link to G4's site to see the interview with the creators of ZOMBIELAND.

Dont know if you can say better. Different. English style humor vs over the top American style. I will say the Zombie makeup and effects were better in Zombieland by a mile. Both really good movies. Apples to apples.
Saw ZOMBIELAND....loved it. Absolutely hilarious flick. Short enough to leave you wanting more; intense enoug to provide jolts; funny enough to make you laugh out loud.
The comparisons to SHAUN are pointless. Two totally different types of zombie films; and different kinds of comedy. Both excellent; and the success of Zombieland will help sustain the genre.
I predict a double feature at my house when Zombieland comes out on disk.
Even with the different humor styles, Zombieland was fun and entertaining, but lacked a good gut laugh. Where as Shaun of the Dead had several. And I didn't really hear anyone, certainly not a large part of the theater heartily laugh at the same time in Zombieland. To me they are apples and apples, being as they are the only major release 'Zombie Comedies'. The only other one I know of is a small Canadian one called Fido, which is suppose to be pretty good.
I saw ZOMBIELAND last Saturday and I loved it. It was funny, but still took the apocalypse thing seriously. Woody Harrelson was great and I'm not his biggest fan.
Allen-FIDO was awesome! I've seen that movie three times already!
I saw ZOMBIELAND this last weekend. i thought it was funny. It was a little dialouge heavey at times and one really big complaint is there wasn't enough zombies. I'm glad I saw it, might see it again sometime. SEAN OF THE DEAD, I can watch again and again, the record throwing scene is comedic gold.
I'm good with talky zombie flicks as long as it develops characters and moves the plot along...which I felt was the case with ZOMBIELAND.
Just remember. If you saw the Zombieland previews you should have known what to expect. Comedy over Zombie apocalypse. Great Zombiomedy IMO. No Night of the Living Dead but it wasnt meant to be.
Can't wait to see this movie when it comes to New Zealand. Shaun of the Dead and Fido are two of my fav zombie movies, so I hope this one stacks up.
Saw Zombieland last night. Great time! If you're one of us that is prepared for the zombie apocalypse then you need to suspend your disbelief. It's worth the price of admission. PS. B.M. part is awesome!
Saw it last night. I loved it! Great blend of gore and comedy. Awesome surprise guest star. Also, I have only one fear clowns. I really, really hate them. So spoiler alert...it has freaking clown zombies! I screamed and jumped out of my seat and my friends laughed their asses off because they know how much I freakin' hate those red nose, makeup wearing, big floppy shoed freaks!
I saw it 2 days ago. It was awesome! So funny! I also loved the suprise guest star. That part of the movie was really funny.
It was equally funny how they got rid of the guest star. When I saw what he was going to do I just thought to myself "That's not a good idea" Great movie though.
Finally got to see this yesterday and laughed myself silly. Then I had to go to the store and stock up on Twinkies....

I can't make my mind on what's better. Zombieland was a comedic movie that all of my friends and I saw. Don't forget to mention the zombie clown. I believe though that Shaun of the Dead was an excellent zombie movie and I would consider giving it a higher rating. ( I wish I would live through some random zombie invasion someday... someday, I'm not saying that it would come true)

I've made a poll, probably won't get much traffic though since only the mod can put them on the main page.

Just joined this group, but saw the movie the first weekend. Wow! That's a movie you can watch over again.
Not straight horror or comedy but a great mixture of both, with characters you actually like. So much potential for a sequel, with or without all the foursome, but I'd rather see them all return.
SHAUN OF THE DEAD was great. Another film that I have watched several times over. The two worlds could almost overlap.
