2404478 Since working through this list started to become a bigger and bigger part of my budget and since I found so much extra time on my hands just when I didn't have my book, I decided to buy eBooks to access on my iPhone. I figured virtual books have to be cheaper than real ones so I started searching for good places to buy them.

I found this website: www.booksonboard.com. They have a huge selection of great titles, must of the ones on the list. The prices are good and they are easy to download and read. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes eBooks or audiobooks.

1121686 Honestly, since working on this list I've just been a frequent patron at my local library. If I like the book enough to be bought, I order online or look for used copies at my local entertainment center. It's an easier way of going about it if looking for an alternative for iPhone books (i just can't bring myself to do it, as progressive as it is)

1806212 I'll rarely buy books unless they're incredibly long or for a college course. The New York City Public Library has an addicting system of requesting holds to your local branch, and I've certainly become a frequent patron... that takes out 4-10 books at a time =P

828523 I highly recommend www.paperbackswap.com. I have being using it for most of the books on the list. And like Sarah, I use the library for the ones I can get there.

952810 Also there is the option of Library Book Sales, the books are almost always cheaper then normal price. Good place to find some of these, I saw quite a few on the list while at one today.

1432413 I believe I saw some of the books on www.dailylit.com You have to read by email (you can choose a length to receive everyday and if you want you can get the next installment right away), but a lot of the older books are free.

324723 I haunt used book stores, but I also use "Bookmooch.com". I've gotten quite a few in trade there for only the price of the postage!
