Why not try Burnt Shadows - Kamila Shamsie. 'Burnt Shadows' is a powerful, sweeping epic crossing generations, cultures and continents. Initally set at the end of WW2 in Japan and moves on to India and America. Well worth a read.

It's worth it.

May I suggest Nissitissit Witch. I still have my limited promo going. There is six days left to the offer and only five copies left. Great book, free copy and all you have to is read it in a timely manner and post an honest review. Last thing and it is opional. I will be on meet the authors sometime and it would be nice if you goined the discussion.
I highly recommend both of Khaled Hosseini's novels (The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. If you're in the mood for a very long story, check out A Suitable Boy A Novel by Vikram Seth. And you can't go wrong with any novel by Haruki Murakami -- Norwegian Wood is a particularly poignant love story.
Looking for some good contemporary fiction books with love stories, like Atonement, The Time Traveler's Wife, A Very Long Engagement, Water for Elephants,The House at Riverton, The Red Scarf, Cold Mountain, and the Outlander series.
Please no Nicholas Sparks, though. And anything with a little mystery would be great as well.
Thanks!
