I'm not sure how many of you get our email updates or check out website with regularity, but for those who don't, I wanted to make sure you were aware of our new newsletter of recommended reads THE ESSENTIAL.

If you sign up for the newsletter, every month you will get one (and only one) email from us with six to ten new recommended books, each thoughtfully written up by one of our talented booksellers. Also in the newsletter are lists like "New Fiction in Paperback," "New Non-fiction in Paperback," "Overlooked Books," etc.

The books are excellent, the writing is good, and we like to think the design of the newsletter is pretty great, too.
