Just read On Thin Ice, another good one...the Wright family series is definitely her best work! Just one more book to go, Hide and Seek, and I'll be caught up with her list...then I'll be sad. :-0
I agree with all your comments, Amar. While I didn't care too much for all the books, especially the paranormal division of T-FLAC, I did like some of the books.... and Kane and AJ were a big reason.
Yep, that's what inspired me to read this book, Moi! I don't think this couple did it on a bed...the elevator, the hummer, the shower, the floor! hee, hee!I just loved the chemistry between the H/H...they were really well matched...and sooo sexy when they finally got together.

That was the camel scene, right? Yeah, that was one of my favorites of the series.

I haven't gotten to the point when anything is on the blitz... that's how early on I am. So I'll plug away and hope for the best.
I see your point. What bugged me was with all the super-duper abilities they possessed, for various reasons, their powers were on the blitz. Grrrr.
I am hoping that after the Edge Trilogy, it goes back to the normal T-FLAC storyline. The whole Wizard thing is... it's ok, but... this is going to sound dumb.... so far he has way too many abilities. Teleporting, shapeshifting, mind reading, and not just mind reading, but he can make her feel things without touching her, he can make things appear and disappear.... So far I've seen no lack of abilities.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge PNR fan but this is just... eh.
I feel the same way after reading a great book, then picking up a book that I might have enjoyed more had it not followed on the heels of the great one. Bummer.
Edge of Danger is still slow, but getting better. I guess I've been spoiled because for the most part, anything I am reading I haven't been able to put it down but this one is one I have to force myself to pick up.
From the "Whatcha Readin' Folder:"I thought "Edge of Danger" (#8) and "Edge of Darkness" (#10) were so-so.
Hey! Thought it was just me because remember feeling that there were too many paranormal books (cluttering up the shelves) and was disappointed when Cherry Adair took this wonderful romantic suspense series into that arena.
In any event, I liked "Edge of Fear" (#9) much better!
Well, I can't. Uniquely Moi, if you feel up to it, I need some refresher info on those two; it's been too long for me.
Keep thinking, ladies! I'm keeping my fingers crossed....
I'm reading the series now and if I come up with it, I will let you know.
We gotta think, Kathrynn.:) I know Dare was at 'headquarters' in Montana helping out on someone else's mission...It wasn't one of those 'Edge' books, was it? And I'm pretty sure Lauren was up there too, getting help for her problems--wasn't she mentally scarred?
The cave/underground place isn't Kiss and Tell with Jake and Marnie and Jake's underground hideaway--you're not thinking of that, are you?
Wait. Didn't Dare and Lauren end up meeting again in the a really cold place/cave/underground? I may be thinking of something else.
I've got to have alittle more info on Dare and Lauren because I'm drawing a blank, darn it. Saw "The Bodyguard" coming out and wondered if it was part of the T-FLAC series. ?

Gosh, I don't know... I'm not familiar enough with her stuff to really know and like I said her website it confusing to me.
I dug around in her website, and she said she has the final book of her trilogy that includes "Hot Ice" and "White Heat" coming out in 2009, called "Ice Cold", but I can't find this book listed anywhere. Do you think maybe it's part of that anthology with Showalter and O'Clare that's coming out in April 2010?
No, I'm trying to remember, but I think they're at the headquarters in Montana (sort of a cameo)--I wish I can remember more but it's been awhile...:(
They definitely haven't had a story yet.

You know, I can swear that Dare (and Lauren) appear in another book...Kathrynn, can you remember? It's got to be one after "Hide and Seek"...
I was just on Adair's Site and as neat as it is, it is difficult to navigate around for actual information. Her text color is now too dark and doesn't contrast well with the black screen background, so I can't click around on it. Tried some of the links that I know run along the top, but gave up. Her home screen doesn't show anything new for 2010. So, I wonder what she's up to?
I just read Hide and Seek and I also would love to see a Dare/Lauren story. The way he was with her when they found her was so touching. Is there anyway to find out what she has coming next?
Her website is lovely, but I can't find my way around it very well.
I just read 'In Too Deep' Tally and Michael and really liked it...looking forward to reading more about the Wright family. Thanks for the recommendations ladies, keep them coming!
I'm with you, Kathrynn. I think I'll wait to find it used, or wait for the paperback. Why do they do this to us?
Bummer! Looks like Ms. Adair is going hardback. (Good for her, bad for me). Her next T-Flac book (#14), "Night Shadow" comes out tomorrow (11/25/08) and is in hardback.Since I have enough to keep me busy and I'm not that wild about her paranormal t-flac's, I believe I'll catch it in paperback sometime down the road.
Just finished "Night Fall" and enjoyed the heck out of it! Great characters, nice story. Simon will be one of my favorite characters. Ahhh...The next book in the t-flac series, "Night Secrets" is do out by the end of October. Yikes.
Yes, it's a paranormal t-flac. I didn't care for her paranormal trilogy as much as the others in her series, so hope this one is better.
Good-you can tell me how it goes! It's one of the paranormal T-FLACs, right? If it's good, I'll bump it up!:)
I haven't read anything by this author yet, but following the discussion here her books sound good. May pick up NIGHT FALL when it comes out and see how I like it.
I didn't. Sorry. I was trying to get information on the next books coming out in her T-FLAC series and I must say the information was pretty darn hard to find. She has lots of bells and whistles, but ...
I saw the pictures for one of the new books and that was interesting. She must have gone to Africa to take some shots. Be interesting to read that book and see if the pictures and places that are shown are also described in the book.
Yea! Good that you cleaned that up!:)
Did you watch that little interview on her site about the Rat? Funny!
Thanks for the info, Auntee. I just popped over and looked around and it is very nice. She sure goes all out.Popped to look through her books on this Site and saw several books by various spellings of her name, last name first, etc and identical titles already here were re-created by newbies, so I got waylaid into fixing that mess.
Wew!
For all you Cherry Adair fans, she has an awesome new website which I just visited. Lots of cool stuff, pictures, videos, book excerpts, etc. Actually, almost too much to take in at one time!:)
AUNTEE: Have I seen Adair's website. LOL I've got a live link to it in the harem! Okay, here, too...
Cherry Adair's Website
Click on the "Profiles" link on the horizontal top menu bar.
Favorite? No. I'll take all 11! Well, okay there's a short list of those that could make me sweat at first sight:
Gabriel Edge, Huntington St. John, Michael Wright, Kyle Wright, and Marc Savin...
BTW, I also have a live link to Alison Kent's SG-5 guys. I've never been a fan of tats, but Mick Savin (heavy sigh). The models for Christian Bain and Ezra Moore work for me, too.
Okay, I'll link that here, too.
Alison Kent's Files of SG-5
Click the play button to view their slide show.
Ah, well. To heck with Disney's idea of Fantasyland.

Okay, I just read the Christmas tree scene and it all came flooding back (literally)! (sniff)
I would definitely recommend this one to any Cherry Adair fan!
Colleen--Did I do that(with the T-FLACs)? Well, you're welcome! :) Did you also check out her website and SEE them? Seeing is believing, huh?
Of course, I think you're trying to torture me--you knew I wouldn't remember the Christmas tree scene! I have now dug out "Take Me" from my Cherry Adair box and am desperately looking for the Christmas tree scene...
I'm just wondering...is my memory that bad or is everyone else's that GOOD? I want to know how you guys can remember all these scenes from books you've read from (I'm guessing)long ago! I think maybe I've read too many books and they're jumbling my brain (that's my excuse anyway)!
By the way, who's your favorite (if that's possible to choose) T-FLAC hunk? :D
AUNTEE: Glad I could rattle your cells for you. The Christmas tree scene is one of those that is so unique, it haunts me.
Adair is one of those authors who can write tightly enough to put depth in 250 pages or less!
But I'll be forever grateful to you for turning me on to the T-FLAC hunks!
Colleen
I read/have "Take Me", Colleen--that WAS a good one! You summed it up nicely--really jogged my memory there (which needs to be jogged often)! :)
I've just finished the T-FLAC/Edge Bros. series and loved it. I alternated reading T-FLAC hunks with Leigh's Tempting SEALs hunks. It took everything in me to avoid throwing some of Stuart's Ice series into the mix.
My first Cherry Adair book is actually on my keeper shelf and I wonder if anyone else has read it. It's an early Blaze title, TAKE ME.
He marries her so he can produce a marriage certificate and claim his inheritance, then leaves her on the courthouse steps. Seven years later, she wants to have a child and becomes his mistress to get pregnant by her husband (he doesn't know who she is). He falls in love with her and starts looking for his wife so he can divorce her and marry his mistress!
It's a GREAT story. Tissues definitely needed for the office and Christmas tree scenes...

Just finished the last T-FLAC book, Edge of Darkness. I read "White Heat" first, liked it and Auntee provided the reading order, so now I've read them all.I recommend the series. Romantic Suspense. The Edge Trilogy (8,9,10) were paranormal with wizards (male and female).
The first book wasn't very good, but the second book is where the series really got going for me.
For me, these weren't as good as the other T-FLAC ones, but I thought maybe it's because I'm not a huge paranormal fan. Hope you can stick it out. One of the books was much better than the other two, but for the life of me I can't remember which one it was! (I know that helps a lot, huh?) :D
I'm reading the first Edge Brother's T-FLAC book now. It's a paranormal and, right now, it hasn't quite hooked me in. Hoping it picks up REAL fast.I think I'm "paranormaled" out. :-)
