I wonder if you have talked together about Tolle's essential point concerning the difference between the content of the now and the space of the now. As he puts it - watching the thinker rather than watching the the thought. I find this to be a helpful distinction in my meditation - a meta position to abide in the now...

Ch.10 p.172 - Let me give you a visual analogy to illustrate the point I am making. You are walking along a path at night, surrounded by a thick fog. But you have a powerful flashlight that cuts through the fog and creates a narrow, clear space in front of you. The fog is your life situation, which includes past and future; the flashlight is your conscious presence; the clear space is the Now.

Tom yes, we still meet and discuss ET and the "Power Of Now" its a very good book that has done a lot for me.

hi bob - i know this is very late in the day but i noticed your post - do your group still meet - i would love to know if you are still discussing et and his work. I am Tom, living in ireland - i find et very helpful - of course trying to apply it in a world full of fea and the egoapplications of fear one gets a sense that the thousands of years of ego noise have left a huge legacy of numbness in people who are lost in mind. Any thoughts

I haven't read A New Earth yet. I'm currently reading another Tolle book entitled The Power of Now. Very powerful.

Yes! I had problems with the broadcast half way through the webinar on Monday night but downloaded it the next day. It was wonderful, everything that I hoped for and look foward to Monday night. This book has touched my soul.

I just attained this book, it is amazing how one can relate and get the sense of connection right away and it makes you really think as you turn each page, well I do anyway, would love to have time to talk with this author as well. It seems to be all in the timing of your life's true calling and if you missed something to now in your life and afraid to ask it answers a lot of questions..! Enjoyable.
