Although The Kult has had a ISBN problem being listed with online retailers, which I hope is resolved soon, it is now available direct from the publisher for $8.95. So I am now officially launching a competition to celebrate. Follow the link to find out more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2jVDiJfN...If you follow the trail, you will see on the competition page that I made an added offer of a free PDF of my short story collection to anyone who purchases a copy of The Kult through Amazon. Well I will honour that for anyone who purchases direct from the publisher too. As I won't know who has purchased a copy direct, I will use an honour system and trust that those who request the copy have ordered. For those outside the US, as the postage will be restrictive, I'm sure that it will soon be available to order from online retailers, and I'll keep you updated.
There's still a problem with the book's listing, which is a result of incorrect information being entered somewhere, but it's available from the publisher, and there's an ebook now available for those who prefer.

It's been receiving some (mostly) good reviews on here too for anyone interested: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63931...
At long last, the book is more readily available. Yay:

And the associated competition to win up to $100 in vouchers to Amazon, Horror Mall or Shocklines is still ongoing: http://www.shaunjeffrey.com/kultcompetit...
It's definitely worth the money, one of my favourite reads of the last year
I'll split the prize if anyone can help me figure it out, I know how to crack it once I have the answers I just can't get all the answers.
Thanks, Jim:)
Two nice reviews can be found here:

The first deadline for the competition is fast approaching ... http://www.shaunjeffrey.com/kultcompetit...
18 days left and further clues are now up on the site. And if anymore help is required, try this: http://www.ssynth.co.uk/~gay/anagram.htm...
For anyone interested, you can read the first three chapters for free, which should be enough to give you a taste: http://www.shaunjeffrey.com/kultsample.p...
The Kult competition answer was: Henry Tomb.
And the competition winners were:
First place: Tara Noble
Second place: Jan Darga
Third place: Rich Hagan
Congratulations to all of you.
From the Leucrota Press blog: "Gharial Productions has just optioned movie rights to Shaun Jeffrey's The Kult.
The screenplay, adapted from the novel by Danielle Kaheaku and Robert Hunter, went into negotiations in the middle of November with Gharial Productions and has finally come out with a solid contract offer and acceptance by Leucrota Press.
Gharial Productions is an emerging movie and film production company based in San Diego, California, and is currently working on pre-production arrangements for the filming of the movie, tentatively scheduled to begin June 2010."

Anyone who has had a book optioned knows that it's far from actually being filmed, but it's still a nice early Christmas present.
