Loved this movie. I won tickets to go and see it and it was a sheer delight. I can truly relate to Summer. And JGL was excellent... No wonder they keep on comparing him to the late Heath Ledger.
I also loved the reference to The Graduate... So many people see its ending as happy when it's truly not. As for the ending of (500) Days of Summer... That could be misinterpreted too.
I loved "500 Days of Summer" and saw it twice in the theater (I'm no match for you, Lauren! 5 times is impressive!). Like Phillip, I left with a big smile on my face!I'm a big fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and have been following his career since his role on "3rd Rock from the Sun".
I love Zooey Deschanel as a singer and an actress! I've seen "Gigantic", "Flakes", "The Go-getter" and "The Good Life" in the last month.
i liked it. i didn't mind the stylized aspect of it, with the exception of the big bollywood style dance sequence, which was a great idea but the director just let it go on too long. i like both of those lead actors, they did good work with the roles, and i walked out of the theater with a big smile on my face.hey katie! long time, no discuss film! check this out before it leaves the theaters. it's a sweet movie, i think you'll like it.
I loved this movie!!!! I found it romantic, sad, sweet, touching, funny, and beautiful. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is superb. This guy should be a bigger star. He is so good. And I can't rave enough about Zooey Deschanel. As of now, this is my favorite movie of the year.
