Time for August's nominations

Okay I waited a week to start this and I am so ready to see what you guys have to nominate.
This is the run down for everyone that is new or a review for anyone else.
* I take the first 12 nominations or nominations through Wednesday. Whichever comes first.
* Nominate ONE book please include author. (sometimes a title is shared by more than one author and it's a stinker of a time finding it to link later on)
* NO need to second a book in this thread. We will vote on all the books on the poll created Thursday.
* The top TWO vote getters will be Aug. read. The book with the most will start out the month and the 2nd place book will finish up the month.
* IF your nominated book wins be prepared to lead the discussion on the book. Discussion guides can often be found online or you can simple start discussion based on your own reading and thoughts.
* IF the book you nominated wins we ask for discussion with spoilers and one without. Some examples include breaking down threads in parts (part 1 and part 2 of the book and one thread for spoilers including the entire book) Breaking down by chapters (chapters 1-10 thread, 10-20 thread, and beginning to end thread for those read to discuss the entire thing). The way you break it down is up to you but we try to keep discussion for those who have read the book and those who are reading the book current and moving.
* Previously read COL books can be found on the bookshelf if you are wondering if a book has already been read before.
Thanks and let the nominations begin!

I just picked this one up from the library over the weekend. I am starting it today! I can't wait to read it too.
I've really been enjoying memoirs lately and would love to see one or two nominated. (Sorry, I'm just putting it out there without an actual nomination. he he)
Speaking of memoirs... how about Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi? It looks really interesting and would give us some separation between actually reading Lolita and the memoir...

I nominate The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe. It comes out tomorrow! I am so excited to read it! :)
