622853 I have to admit that sometimes I can't watch this show....its too gross or it totally creeps me out. I feel bad for the people who suffer from this and I hate that they have to go through it but I had to delete the skin picking episode from the DVR.

86285 I guess you are right Christy... Generalized Anxiety I think is harder to fix then OCD so therapy for years as opposed to 6 months. Plus it is not as shocking that someone can't go to the dentist as opposed to someone thinking they are going to murder everyone.

622853 oh my god that is sick. I gotta hurry up and get to that one, what possesses people?!

2225408 You use an enema then take a toothbrush and insert it into your anus, reaching in as far as possible, and scrub away.

622853 How does one scrub their own intestines? I guess I haven't seen that one yet.

2225408 I think they'll leave that to True Life on MTV. They want Obsessed to be like Intervention and so they have to go all out to get the ratings.

Barnum & Bailey-esque entertainment aside, it's gratifying to see someone condition themselves away from scrubbing their own intestines as opposed to getting their mail.

86285 Well actually Generalized Anxiety can get scary. They can be afraid of everything. The dentist, the grocery store, leaving the house, going out in public period, talking on the phone, ext.

That would be boring. It would be someone sitting there watching TV and every so often taking a Xanax.

1494961 I haven't seen the one about the intestines...hmm, gross.

2225408 Oh my goodness, the one where the woman scraped her intestines with a tooth brush really made me shiver.

1494961 I caught an episode this weekend too...I think I may need to DVR it. Very interesting. I've been thinking about it for while too. Wondering what things I do that are obessive or borderline.

622853 I watched it finally and i really liked it. Very interesting especially if you have an interest in psych. I was thinking about it for awhile afterward....

86285 Did anyone check out this show Monday night on A&E. It is a good show that shows examples of Anxiety disorder.
