Ooh! Sorry I haven't commented back here sooner!! (I've been off goodreads more than I'd like to admit! :( Anyway, yes, Brigid, I hope you can find the sequels someplace!!:D

I think the second wasn't quite up to par with the first (though, it's hard to live up to Larklight, IMO), but I thought the third was just as great as the first.
I'm pleased there's more fans! I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the series as much:)
Oh yeah I read the first one. It was cute in a very weird way … Very original and charming kind of story. It was funny. :] I never got around to reading the sequels. Does anyone know if they're any good?

I'm halfway through Larklight, which is written by Philip Reeve and illustrated throughout by David Wyatt.
I love it so far and it is the first of three books.
It's rather creative, funny and an exciting romp through space. It's set in an alternate victorian era.
It's wonderful so far!
Has anyone read this book?
